Lowes and lows' Stock Sale l Report. Masiekton, December 1, Yesterday's sale was the largest of the season, and was very numerously attended by eager buyers. There were yarded 750 head of cattle of a superior description, the majority being well bred steers in good condition, and 6000 sheep all of which wero sold at auction at what was generally considered most satisfactory rates for tho vendors.
The following are the prices ob< tained: —The first pen containing 126 2| and 3 year steers, fresh condition, made £sl2s; the next pen of 100, a little older but inferior, £5 8s; then followed a pen of 80 well bred 2 to 1\ year steers in good order realising £5 16a; younger steers in pens of 80 to 50 sold at 82s to 02a 6d; yearling steers, 57s Gd; young heifers, 05s to 60s; cows and heifers, mixed ages and quality, 60s to 78a; weanera from 36s to 50s j a pen of half bred yearling Ayrshire heifers, very quiet, 60b; fat cows, 01s to £5 2* fid; fat steers, £6 3s to £7 2s 6d.
Of the 6000 sheep yarded over 5000 wero wetbers, 2 tooth bringing from Bslid to 10' id; 4 tooth, lis; forward 4 tooth, 11a 3d; young ewes, 10s 8d; aged ewes and lambs in the wool, 18s lOd to lis, There was no demand for horses,
