RULES AND REGULATIONS. All races to bo run under the rules ot racing, In cjss oE a protest, the samo must bo lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after tlio raco lias been run, with a deposit of £2, such deposit be foiteited if the protest bo found to bo frivolous or vexatious. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and thirty minutes before the time of starling, No entry will be received for any race unless the conditions that all claims, disputes and objections wising shall bo decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall bo final, All nominations, entries and acceptances, acconipun ed by tho necessary amount, must be adddiessed to tho Sdjiotary. No entry will be recoivcd after the hour named on any protenco whatever. Any jockey rising excopt in colours will be fiued 2 sovs, Tho amount for second and third horse will be deducted from tho advertised amount of stakes, Hones walking over will receive 5U per cent of the stakes. Hack means a horse that has never started for, or is not nominated at time of entry for any raco j back or hunter races excepted.
