At the meeting of the Anglican Synod yesterday it was decided to appoint a Committee to enquire into the Gothenburg system of controlling the liquor traffic, and also other eystsma, Member* generally are opposed to prohibition, A motion dealing with the Bishop's decision in the Eev Mr Gifford's me, was talked out.
