Hawera, Novembor 17. The only sale to be chronicled this week is the one we held at the Glover Boad yards, Hawera, on Wednesday, the 16th inst.
There was good mu etor of stock
all the pens being well filled. Buyers rlwerenumerous and bidding spirited throughout, so that, with theexception of one line, everything was sold under the hummer or immediately after the sale, some of tbe cattle reaching over the reserves placed upon them. We quote:—Fat bullooks, £7 8s; forward bullocks, £5 9s to. £sl4s; 2 to 2J-yr steerß, £3 lis to £4 15s;
18 mthsto 2-yr stoers,£2 16a 6d to
£3 4a; mixed yearlings, £2 2s Gd (o £2l2a 6d; fat cows, £5 to £6 10s; cows and calves and in calf, &i 10s to £6. Sheep—fat wethers shorn, 10s 6d; ewes and lambs, 103 Gd to 14s Gd. Egmont Farmers' Union, Limited shares, 50s paid up (with dividend at 8 percent added) realized 53s each,
Some eales in fat stock were effected daring the week, prices ranging from B 10s to £7.
