Chrisiohurcb, November 17. .. A. Kaye,,of Kayoand'Carter, has been elected president, and G. H.Blaokwell chairman of the Kaiapoi Woollen Company, vice-president of the Employers' Aeaociation. Theoalendar for the criminol sittings of the Supremo Court, which open on Monday, contains eight charges against seven persona. There is one charge of child murder, bno of ooncealment of birth, one of assault with intent, The other charges are of ordinary character.
