The plant for the Electric Lighting of the city is ready for shipment, and a syndicata hope to supply light to privato consumore by May next. The Hon. C. J. Johnston and Mr George Beetbam have joined the managing directors as Advising Board in Wellington, The syndicate is prepared to start work in Ohristchurch Central Station as Boon as the City Council have decided re lighting public streets,
