Young Hero was by Lincolnshire Hero, imported to Tasmania by W. E. G. Kermode, Esq. Hero's dam was by Old Sampson, winner of 21 first prizes. Young Hero gained ft numberm prizes at tho various Shows in Otago, Napolcon'ssircßannatyno'slienLomond was bred by Fleming and Hedley,' and is by Young Vanquisher, imported. Young Vanquisher was bred by Peter Amtaon, Stranraer, Scotland, out of his celebrated mare, Sally, by Loch Fergus Champion; grandsiro, Blair's Champion. Ben Lomond's dam was by Maggie Lauder, imported. Ben Lomond has gained a number of prizes at tho Blueskin, Pulmerston and Waikouaiti Shows, NAPOLEON wis onco shown and gained first prize at the Palmerston and Waihemo Agricultural Association's Shows.
