DROWNING FATALITY.
(By Telograph.—Proas Association,) Wellington, Monday. H, Buckland, cook of Q.a. Moa, was reported missing last trip from Greymouth, and thought to be lost overboard, but enquiiies showed that lie was seen on the wharf just before the steamer left. The river was dragged without success until yesterday when the body was. found seven miles up the beadi. It is supposed that Buokland fell down between tho wharf anil tho vosiol. He wis a steady man and leaves ft widow and four clyldreD.
