CARTERTON SHOW.
Second Day, (By Telegrab.—Our Special Correspondent.) Cautekton, Friday, For the second day of tho Carterton Show, the weather, although slightly overcast, is perfectly fine so far, end there ore already upwards of three thousand people on the ground, Over one hundred came by special train from Wellington, while the ordinary morning train also brought a considerable number of passengers from South Wairarapa, The Masterton contingent by the special train was upwards of two hundred and fifty, or more than doublotho number that travelled from there by rail last year. In addition there is an influx by road from all quarters, and there is every propect of a record being made im poiut oi attendance, Later, the houses. There is a very fine exhibition of horses, of every ohss, The champion draught stallion is G. W. Deller's " Director," J. Hessoy's'.' Darling" is champion draught maro. In thoroughbreds, JJuckeridge's "Egalite" has oanied oil' champion awards, and in coaching stallions 6. W, Deller's •' Finanoier" occupies top position and wins the medal,
