RESULT OF POLL, fjnHE following is tho result of a poll I taken at tho Road Board office, Ekotaliuna, upon a proposal to raise a loan of £125 for formation and metalling, on Makakahi Road South Number of ratepayers on speoia! roll, 2 Number of pollable votes, 3. Numbor of ratepayers who voted for tho proposal, 2, exercising 2 votes. Number of ratepayers who voted against the proposal, none. Numbor ofratepayers who did not record their voto, 1, being en titled to exercise 1 vote. As the number of ratepayers who voted and the numbor of votes recorded in favour of tho proposal are in each case a majority of tho total number on the roll, 1 therefore doolaro tho proposal carried, THOS, PARSONS, Chairman 31st Octobor, 1892.
