MR GLADSTONE AS A DARING DINER OUT.
The London CourtJownal says :-"Mr Gladstone dines out with % regularity and daring that could not bo excelled by a man of half hisyeara. Ouo who meets himoften at these gastromonic tournaments eaya that Mr (r.'s participation in their enjoyments is by no means perfunctory. Some men pant 60 still dining out, enjoy them, lelves under severe restrictions, daintily picking their way through tho menuMr G., past 80, is apparently under no restrictions. Bo eats what comes, generally right through the menu, and can take his glass of port after his libation of champagne, a test from which many an ardent diner would shrink. His mentalaotivitv is on a par with his physical vigour. His conversation is a novor flagging flood, brimful of interest. If it were only possible toroproduce a verbati m report of his conversation at a dinner party, where tho personal surroundings are sufficiently interesting to exoito him to talk, there would be produced a volume of interest, biographical, autobiographical, and historical. Hismomory is marvellous, and his power of graphically recalling an incident is the admiration of even the gentlemen behind tho chairs." Mr Gladstone is to be con' gratulated on possessing a perfect liver, nut all mon can say the same; the slightest over-indulgence in eating or drinking is sufficient with some people to upset the liver and cause bilious at. tacks; these eventually lead to serious disease and make the sufferer's life ono continual misery. Timely use of Clement's Tonio will always cure the most serious cases, as shown by the proofs vouch-safed by Miss L. Lammond, New Plymouth, who writes:-After many yoara o( Buffering, and travelling all over the world in search of good health, it gives me great pleasure to state that Clement's lonic hat done mo more good than all tho doctors, and all tho baths, spas and masseurs 1 have known. My lif» has been ono round of misery for tho past soven years, owing (bo tho dootora said) to liver complaint, My head alwaysaohed, my limbs ached; I was always tired and languid, and 1 felt more tired in a morning than when I went to bed, 1 had sleepless and restless nights, and could get no relief. Three months back I came to New Zealand, add in my travels frequently heard and read of Clement's Tonio, and mother advised me to try two or three bottles. lam pleased to say that it has done wonderi. I never have hoadaches now, and 1 have only taken three bottles, but I feel a wonder, fuldeal better, and you have my heartfelt gratitude for your remedy.
