THEATRE ROYAL.

Miss Pearson's Conceit Tbo Theatre Royal was simply packed last evening on the occasion of Miss Pearson's first annual concort, standing room scarcely being obtainable at eight o'clock, and for a holiday night the crowd was unusually quiet and orderly. The proficiency of Miss Pearson's pupils was shown to great advantage, and the young lady is to be congratulated upon tho display of talent she bas brought before the public, Want of space will prevent us going into detail, suffice to say that all the items rendered were received with applause, and in several instances the artistes had to respond to the inevitable encore. The following programme was faithfully rendered:—Overture, " (Jhant du Poet," Masterton Orchestra; song, "Merry is the Greenwood," Mrs Mueller; piano solo, "Heather Bells," MiBS Annie Peterson"; song, " Only Once More," Mr Obas. Clifford; piano solo, "Harvest Home," MasterG. Bennington; song 11 Ring on Sweet Angelus," Mrs Pearson; cornet solo, " Medley," Master J. Bennington; song," At Night," Mr Boagey; Bons, "Eobin Adair," Miss Prangnoll; piano trio, "Massaniello,"' Misses Peterson, Taylor and Winteringham; overture, two pianos, ll Poet and Peasant," Misses Whitt and Peterson and Misses Danielland Butler; song, selected, Mr B. Heard; violin solo, " Home, Sweet Home," Mr Ginders; song, selected, Master Wally Jago; piano solo, ".The Happy ' Eeturn," Miss Slanobe Perry; duet, "The Elfin Call," Mrs Mueller and Misß MoKenzie; piauo solo, " Carnival de Vernee," Miea Pearson; character song, "I come from Mein Deutchland," Miss Prauguell; piano duet," Ocean Waves' Blake," Meters Peterson and J, Bennington. The entertainment concluded with "The Gipsy Maidens' Eevel," in which thirty oharming little girlo took part, their brilliant costumes looking exceedingly pretty as they danced jonad the Gipsy Queep.
