THE STOCK CONFERENCE.
[By Telegrapb.—Pri-ss Association.] Wellington, Wednesday night, , At the Stock Conference to-day, a ' Aonq discussion took place on the question of declaring New Zealand a clean oolony, Mr Brydon gavo notice of motion "That after next shearing. of the flocks in the last infected district, and if on inspection of such flocks be found free from scab, that the Conference recommend the various Australian Governments to reraovo tho restriction, and that intercolonial sienrners carrying sheep fhall Dot be liable to be inspected," Various diseases affecting livestock were considered by the Conference, and a large amount of information as to the prevalence of diseases, was given by delegates. The Conference unanimously recommended that an efficient stiff of Inspectors be maintaintained in each Colony.
