A POPULAR DELUSION EXPLODED.
Confirmatory Evidence. Thediseaso of mysterious origin, denominated diabetes, is of more frequent occurrence than is generally imagined. That it is highly dangerous, and often fatal, is conceded, but no grounds are given thereby for tho commonly omertained ideii that it is incurable That it does not yield to the most advanced treatment known to medical science is no warrant lor the too hastily adopted dictum that all hope must be abandoned, and the unfortunate person given over to die. Although much valuable time may have boen.lost over useless experimenting, and the strength of tho victim thoreby reduced to something frightfully near to collapse, even under such adverse oircumstances there is a remedy, which, when faithfully applied in conjunction with certain dietary measures, has proved, in numberless cases, to be a true specific for this dire complaint, That remedy is" Warner's" Sa.fo" Diabetes Cure. Ono of the latest examples of its power in an extreme case is given in tho words of Mr Christopher G. Harvey, dated Hawcra, Cromwell, New Zealand, 27th June, 1892. Ho writes; Messrs 11, H, Warnor and Co,, Dear Gentlerasn—The past tbreo or four years my health has failed greatly, and my strength become much reduced, Early lust spring I noticed that the flesh had wasted off my bones, I had become a perfect skeleton, and could hardly walk from sheer exhaustion, One doctor treated me for indigestion, and another said I had sugar diabetes, and could not livo long. Daily I was seized with faint ing fits, and tlw doctor stated that I should' likely go off in ono of them, At times I felt most painfully hungry, but my jaws were so weak that I could not eat. In fact, I was given up to die within a month. When 1 came back from seeing the doctor, a friend, Mr Barclay, called to enquire after me and begged me to try Warner's " Safe" Diabetes Cure—but I objected as I had spent all my ready money, He then asked me if I would lake the medicine, and give it a fair trial if it was procured' for me. On giving my consent, he and othors bought a case. After taking four bottles, I felt great improvement. My appetite and palate became more natural, the mine decreased, the swellings in ankles, and thighs and pain in shin bones vanished, I have now token 16 bottles, and through the use of your preparation my life has been prolonged to this, to tho surprise of everybody. They say lam a living miracle, as it waß the general opinion that I could not last over Christmas; but I am now ploughing with a team of horses, and at the present moment I am in excellent health. Such evidence as the foregoing, volunteered by the individual who underwent tho experience, sufficiently stamps tho medicine that produced such a wonderful result as a3 one of the most valuable discoveries of this age. No sufferer from Diabetes need despair while Warner's" Safe" Diabetes Cure is available,
