Lowes and lorns' f/lasterton Stock Sale Report Oar entries at yesterday's salo were not numerous, hut the quality of the sheep was good generally, The cattle, with the exception of dairy cows, was inferior and very mixed. Pat sheep were dull, owing, in part, probably to the stoppage of railway traffic betwesn here and Wellington, also to the reserves being too high, vendors being unwilling to accept less than last ruling rates, The cattle, considering the quality, sold very well. The demand for horses is not quite so brisk, a good many remaining unsold, The following prices were realised Fat wethers, 10s Cd to IBs; mixed owes and wethers, 14s; shorn wethors, 10s 9d to 12s; ewes nnd ■ Ismbß, 12s 2d; dairy cows, from £4 to £5 10s; 2-year-old steers, to 655; yearlings, from 36a to 495; weaners, ;m2ss to 345; draught mares, £22 to t£2§ 10s; hacks, from £5 to £B, Pigs: No demand.
