The Purebred Clydesdale Stallion NAPOIiEON, NAPOLEON is a light Lay horse, five years old, with plenty ot bone and substance. His dam, Gipsy, is by Puddy's Ben Lomond, imported, Gipsy's dam was by the farfamed Young Hero. Gipjy's stock have been the most successful prize-takers at the Palmorston and Waikouaiti Shows. Young Hero was by Lincolnshire Hero, imported to Tasmania by W. B. G. Kcrmode, Esq. Hero's dam was by Old Sampson, winner of 21 first prizes. Young Hero's dam. Blossom, was by the imported horse, Matchless. Young Hero gained a number of prizes at the various Shows in Otago, Napoleon's sire, Bannatyne's Ben Lomond was bred by Fleming and Hedley, and is by Young Vanquisher, imported.
