Mr H. S. Fish Meets a Warm Welcome at Dunedin.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association) Dunedin, October 10. Mr H: S. Fish, M.H.R., was met on tho atrival of the train by a very large crowd, His friends raised cheers, but these were soon drowned by s hostile demonstration, and the crowd followed the drag, which was awaitidg him, to tho hotel, whero there was further cheering and hooting. Mr Fish attempted to address the crowd from tho window, but as over-ripe eggs soon commenced to fly about, he retired, His friends then presented lnm with an address of welcome, and in reply he justified his. actions in Parliament at some leogtb. |
