PRESS ASSOCIATION.
Wellington, Tuesday, Six or seven slips occurred in the Manawatu Gorge yesterday, and some on tho coach road as well. Traffic is completely blocked to-day, but it is expected to be resumed to-morrow, as none of the slips are large, unless moro rain falls. The Napier train was caught between two slips, but in a safe place, and the passengers had to wait somo hours till a train was sent from Danevirke, which took them back to Woodville,
