Mr F. H, Wood reports as follows of the stock sale held by him yesterday at his Taratahi sale yards There was a good attendance of buyers, but entries wero nob as large aB at last sale. The bidding for sheep and young cattle was fairly spirited, last salo rates being fully maintained. Dairy stock, however, was not in auch good demand, and soYeral were passed in. Pigs found a ready sale, but horses, again, were a drug. The following is a summary of prices realized Sheep,-Only two classes represented, viz:'hoggets and fat wethers, 800 hoggets wero yarded, and these sold readily at from lis 6d to 13s; wethers (light) 15s Bd. Cattle,--Calves, 37s to 42s 6d; os; 18 months steers and heifers, 63e; dairy cows, 78b to 130s; heifers (springing), 80s. Pios.-Weaners, 5s to 6s 6d; small porkers, lis to 12s; large do, 18s. Horsis.—A few hacks sold at low prices, and a good buggy horse, £25.
