[To the Editor,] Sir.—Fishermen are noted for " drawing the long bow ": like the poets they are licensed, Let a man with the utmoit integrity start troutfisbiug, and in a very short time he will have ouch regard lor the truth that lie will seldom utter it, Judging from the fish story which appeared in jour issueof yesterday, ] imagine some member of your staff must have turned fisherman. For some time past I havo been treated to some tall fishing yarns; hut, Mr Editor, since your true 801b eel yarn appeared, my brother fishermen and I have held a meeting, and have unanimously awarded you the biscuit.
