Sib,—l am instructed to give the local appearing, in jour paper, as under, an unqualified denial, no such case having come before the Trustees or myself:—" A man who had besn busbfelling in the Masterton district, and earning thirty shillings per week beside his food, recently applied to the local Benevolent Society for relief, stating that be bad been out of work for three days through an injury to his foot.
