(From Our Own Correspondent), Feathib6ion, Saturday, A meeting was held last night in St. George's Hall for the purpose of forming a Band of Hope. There wai a large attendance of children, besides several adults. Mr R, McGregor addressed the meeting and explained the object of the Band of Hopo, At the end of the meeting forty children expressed their intention of joining, and gave in their names, After thg smaller children bad gone home a meeting of the adults was held, and Messrs D. Robertson and 8, Keys were elected Secretary and Registrar respectively, It was decided that the President and other officers be elected at the next meeting, whioh is to be held on Friday, 23rd inst,
