Conditions of Coinage in Australia.
[united press association,] London, August 20. The Treasury is willing to allow the Australian Mints to coin uilvor tokenß special to Australia, if the colonies collectively desire it, or to coin a British token of silver as agents, the head Mint receiving a reasonable allowance from the profit towards the loss incurred in the coinage of gold, this arrangement to terminate on the adoption of Federation, and also to be contingent on the complete concert of New South Wales and Victoria, August 30, Silver is quoted at 3s 2d.
