Church Feud at Tonga.
(United Pioss Association,)
Auckland, August 31. News from Tonga by Island steamers states that there has been some ill-feeling between some of the chiefs at Vavau and the King in connection with the building of a new chimb at Yavau; I'Ut all was made smooth liy the former making the amende honorable at a special visit made by them to Tonga with two schooner loads of presents and the necessary commissariat for holding a lingo banquet to celebrate the conciliation. The church over which the trouble arose was formally dedicated by the ISev. J. B. Watkin at Yavau.
