Committee Meeting. A meeting of tho General Committee of the Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association was ltold in tho Club Hotel yoßtorday (Wednesday) fifteen member* being presJJont. The chair was occupied by the 'President (Mr F. Gray). HINUTEB, Tho minutos of three adjourned meetings were read and confirmed, RESIGNATION. Mr A. W. Cave reported that Mr 0, A, Pownall had re-considered tlio matter and had withdrawn bis rignation, NEW SUOW GROUND. The plans and specifications of the now show ground were presented and explained by Mr John King, architect. Tho report of tho Ground Committee was read and receivod. DEBENTURES. On tin motion of Mr James Stuckoy, seconded by Mr £. Meredith, it was resolved to offer a hundred debentures to the public at £5 each, bearing interest at six por cont, and a committee of the following gentlemen was appointed to pluco tlio samo Messrs A. A circular was read from tho Hawko's Bay Association with reference to the quarantine regulations affecting stock imported from other Colonies. It was decided to co-operate with tho Hawko's Bay Association in securing tho establishment of a ceutral quarantine at Wellington. JUDGES, It was resolved to ask tlio following gentlouien to act as judges at tho forthcoming show: —Lincolu eheepMessrsEasby(Gißborne), J.N, Williams and A. M'Hardy (Hawkes Bay). Komneys—Messrs A. L). M'llraiih, \V. Grant and A. A. Bakor (Canterbury). Downs—Messrs Bristol, Seaton, aud Gough (Canterbury). Cattle—Messrs D, Buchanan (Hawera), A, Williams (Hawke's Bay), andLymes(Hawera), Draught Horses—Messrs B. Wellwood and Hislup (Hawko's Bay) and J, Phillips (Auckland). Light Horses —Messrs A. T, Danvers, J. Reid and Ajjyons (Hawke's Bay), ' NEW MEMBERS. The following now members were proposed by tho Secretary:—Messrs F. Moore, P. A. Yallance, J, Groves, T. Brencbley, T. Compton, J. Mandel, Webb, Do Lisle and G. Judd. The meeting then adjourned till Wednesday next,
