DRUNKS, John Lear pleaded guilty to having imbibed 100 freely, and was fined 10s and liaooflts, or forty-oigbt hours, Charles Whelan, who was a second offender, was fined 20s and 8s costs, or three days. Neither were possessed of funds and they were therefore sept to Wellington,. . IWEQALiy OH PREJIIBBS, David Agnew was charged with,* being illegally on the premises of the Star Hotel and was sentenced to fourteen days' hard labour. For refusing to quit the licensed premises .whin requested to do so be was convicted I and discharged.
