(Bv Diogenes), The following team will represent the Hard Cases in their match against the Orientals (Mastertou), at Grey, town, on Saturday next: —Backs— W. Hawkins, W, Smitji, sruntbn, J, Hornolow, J. Montgomery, F, Hawke, M, Wood; forwards—lfaisen, T, and H. Haigb, P, Udy, A, Grigg, J, Jaclwon, Jones, Frank Hawke, Emergencies—Williams, Cook, Jackson. Play will commence at 8 o'clock sharp. The Wairarajja Junior Kepresentalives will leave by the morning train on Saturday next, The Oommitteo have decided tint the team shall play in the colors of tho Bed Star Club, Any memhora of the team who are unable to get away will please intimate the same to either Messrs Butement, Duff, or Sullivan. The Wellington Junior rops. will
play in maroon colours against Wairarapa on Saturday.
Owing to the wet weather and; the sodden stato of the Nowtown Park, tho football match Canterbury v. Wellington, which was sot down for today, has been postponed until the roturn of the visitors from the northern tour. The matoh will be played on Sept, 12th.
