M r Duncan McGregor occupied the chair, and the following programme was submitted, each itetn boing thoroughly appreciated; - Overture, "Italiano in Algieri," Herr von Keisenbergand Orchestra] song, " St. Winifred'B Well," Mrs Mueller; 6ong, "Brave Old Oak," Mr Balph; pianoforte solo, " Tho Cottage by tho Sea," Miss Daniell; vocal duet, "Eventide," Miss Williams and Mr Boagey; pianoforte duet, " Jean de Aro," Mrs and Miss Pearson | song,

" Someone to Lovo," (encored), Miss Pragnell; trio, "Scots ivlia baa wi Wallaco bled," Master Holtifiwiiy and Missos Holdaway and FinlayßOn; song, " The Dear Liitlo Shamrock," Miss Perry, who gave as mi encore " Killarney"; song, " Tbe Gauntlet," Mr Boagey, Misses Pearson, Perry and Williams, and Mr' Keisenberg played the accompaniments in their usunl stylo. Tho Chairman announced jL that Bro. Glover, the Grand Lodge * lecturer and organiser, would address two meetings ill Masterton on September sth anil 6th.
