Buildings, Fcathcrston-street, Queen-street, Wellington, Auokland, During one of the very severe storms that thia,d(strict has been afflicted with lately, an unfortunate gentleman who was out in it, chanced to take shelter from one of the heaviest showers In a shed he was passing at the time, The storm raged with such violence, that ho determined to make himself as comfortable as circumstances would permit, until there wore signs of improvement in the weather, su he drew his pipe from his pocket, settled himself in the warmest corner of the shed, and smoked contentedly away, until he was awakened by hearing voices in close proximity to him. It was quite dark by this time, so that neither parties wero awaro of the presence of tho other. They were talking very earnestly and the subject seemed to be one of great moment to one of them at least, for he was urgently recommending his friend tu follow his adyice and example, which was not to neglect his health any longer,- when he had a remedy within his reach that would work a perfect euro,
He stated his own experience, how long he had despaired ot finding relief, for he had consulted scores,of doctors, and tried innumerable medicines, all to no purpose, he still remained ut martyr to indigestion and general falling off of health. lie gradually g reff B0 mllc li wor j fli that he felt "That life was not worth living," when one day a friend said to him, " Why not try Karana, ono of Mother Mary Joseph Aubert's remedies, for your complaint. It is highly recom. mended for it." He did so, and " Ah," he said," How I bless the day that I did. It has made a now man of me." He enlarged at Buch length on the wonderful properties of tho medicines, that the man who had been sleeping, was quite roused, and had been an eager listener to all the conversation, Hising up he made his presenco known to the other two, much to their surprise, who supposed they were tho only occupants of this friendly shelter. Explaining to them that he was in need of just such a medicine as ho had heard described, he begged for further particulars of it, They were gladly given him, and immediately he reached the nearest ehemist'sheprocurcdabott-IoofKABANA, and he is now as loud in his praises of this wonderful remedy, as the man who had been unwittingly the means of restoring him to perfect health. Take Karana, and you will find out foryourselveß what an excellent Tonio it is, and now invaluable at all times and seasons,
GENUINE SUCCESS. VIOE-REGAL AND THESPIAN ' THAT LITTLE COLD," AT the present time the weather is most changeable, and noarly oyeryone suffers from colds in the head fit throat, These affections in their primary state ato never very hurtful to the constitution, but a neglected cold is one of the worst things that can ever happen to a human being. It should certainly be attended to immediately, Warraor clothing must be put on j and the patient must undergo a slight course of a medicine which will cure in the early stagca and not allow the sufferer to beoame'affiioted with those most pre* relent complaints—ASTHMA, OUE. SUMPTION and BRONCHITIS. What a number of persons have causo to regret a neglected simplo little cold, and if they had only thought it was go. in» to turn out as it has done they would certainly have taken PROPER PEECAUTIONS, But still it is not too late and why? Because WATURK which provides everything necessary to existence, in lior bounty has given us herbs and vegetation amongst which is hiddon the antidotes to sickness, and it only required the researoh of such a |ady as MOTHER AUBERT to discover the plants which yield the articles of assimilation in curbing the ills brought on by a slight cold, H MARUPA" Is the registered name of MOTHER AUBERTS OUUGH, ASTHMA and CONSUMPTION REMEDY. It is a medicine which should bo in every household, and testimony has been given by hundreds of persons of its good effects. Notably MR WALTER BENTLEY and MISS MYRA KEMBLE, whose vocation brings them under the notice of everybody " who runs and reads," would not have certihod to the efficacy of "M-»BUPA" If it was not what it is made out to be. There are no mineral substances in its composition, almost for that reason alone it is not hurtful to the smallest child, put can be administered to the smallest with perfect safety. Mothers attend to that distressing cough of your little offspring, and for a bottle of " MARUPA," And have cause to rejoice that in future years yoHr children grow up with CHEEKS LIKE ROSES, and not with PALLID LIPS because "THAT LITTLE COLD" wn neglected in younger days. IHK " PREEHANS JOUBNAt' (Saturday, June 4, 1892), Special attention is directed to the ad- ■ vertisement of tho Rev Mother Mary Joseph Auberfc Remedies which is api pearing in our columns for tho first time. 1 Mr Orlando J 'Kempthorno, who man. 1 ages this business informs ua that the 1 sale of these medicineß in New Zealand \ is somewhat wonderful, and he has tho greatest faith that they will soon come . into popularity in New South Waltij. Mather Aubett has been at work in New , Zealand for thirty ycatß, and has always given her timo free of all charge to pursons of all denominations, to whom her assistance coold be of any avail in relieving them of their several complaints, Archbishop Redwood, Bishop Grimes, and Lord Onslow certify to relief obtained by the use of these remedies, and such testimony is very gratifying. Mr Walter Bently and Mies Myra Kemble have also written adding their proof to the many hundred testimonials received by tho proprietor. Some timo since wo reprinted a paragraph from our Now Zealand Oathoho contemporary, in which it was deplored that Mother Aubert's remedies were not more widely known, and suggesting a more wholesale mode of distributing them than prevailed. It would seem that the Rev Mother has followed tho advice offered on that occasion, The Aubert Remedies are sold by Mr T, 6. Mason, Mußterton. ■
