RESULT OF POLL, THE following is tha result of a poll, taken at the Road Board Office, Eketahuna, upon a proposal to raise a loan of £I2OO for six miles of road formation in Parkvillo : Number of Batepayors on Special Roll, 31; number of pollable votoa,3l; number of Batepayors who voted for the Proposal, 20, exercising 20 votes; number of Ratepayers who voted ioiiNsi the Proposal, 1, exercising 1 voto; number of Ratepapers who did not record thoir votes 10, being entitled to exeroite 10 votes.

As tho number of Ratepayers who voted,.and the number of votes recorded, in favour of the proposal aro in each case a majority of the total numbers on tho Roll, I therefore declare the proposal carried.
