At the inquest on Frederick Plummer, the Papakura constables deposed that deceased twice fireUt them. They only fired to intimidtf!eliiDj,aud were surprised that the shot took effect. The jury found a verdiot thai Plummer was shot by the constable in the execution of his duty, being justifiable homicide, and added a rider commending the conduct of the constables.
