London, August 16. Mr Munro states that lie wrote to the Premier of Victoria on 21st JuM fully explaining the details connecld with the la Rose estate, and authorising li'm to make use of them as he judged best,
London, August 17. Mr Munro does not expect to return to England, He expressed confidence in his ability to answer the charges against him, City men are in favour of Mr Shiels becoming the Agent-General for Victoria.
Sir Andrew Clarke will act as Agent-General for Victoria during the absence of Mr Munro.
