EKETAHUNA ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the Eketahuna Bond Board was held at the office on Saturday afternoon last. Presunt: Messrs T. Parsons (chrirman), Dowsett, T. Bayliss, Neilson, Anderson, and Matbieson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted. Correspondence was read from the Public Works Department re bridge oyer Mangaone Stream.—BesoM, th'at a notice he posted at each end of the bridge hs to its beina unsafe.
,It whs decided to have the bush felled on the Mount Boyne road line. Resolved, tbat a loan of i 1,200 be. raised for the purpose of forming .and metalling the Mangaraoia road to tho South-West corner of Mount Baker block.
A number of accounts-waro passed [for payment. Separate rates of {d in the £ were 1 struck for the different Wards. Besomed, that the sum of £5 be expended in'repairing the road in Dories' cutting.
