ENTERTAINMENT AT THE TUERU.

(From a Gormpondal,) The Taueru Christy Minstrels gave their first entertainment on Saturday nigbt, the ball being filled with a very appreciative audience. As time and space will not allow of a detailed report, I may say for one and all tbat the respective Bongs and jokes' wek rendered in a stylo' yliiijk the greatest credit to' the performers. * The ivbole of the cbpr'upes'were' weij baoljed up by tiie circle. Credit is also due to Miss B. Brown for tbe manner in which she accompanied the various songs, Messrs T, Brown, G. Juher and F. Allan were sucoessW in obtaining encores. The entertainment was concluded with the side-splitting farce, "The Susquehanna Snob Shop," which kept tho house in roars for some twenty* five minutes. .Mr F, Smith as " Ginger,' 1 WBB especially comipal. Ac the fall of the curtain the hall waa cleared for danoing, some thirty couples staying to finish up a very enjoyable evening. The dancing was carried on till 11.50, when evervono left for home. Dancing ui'.siu was supplied by Mrs Davy and Missos G. and B. Brown, Mr A. Smith acting as M.C.
