A flittering verdiot.—Speaking of one of the most noted of colonial specialities, the press says :-"Sharland's Baking Powder deserves more than a
passing notice, for the "Moa" Brand Baking Powder enjoys a reputation second to none. From ono end of New Zealand to the other, large orders are received for this popular, brand. Even in the most out of the way districts the careful house-wife, possessed with the laudable ambition to make her bread and her scones better than her neighbours', buys Sharland's Baking Powder, and triumphs over the few of her less sensible sisters, who, from a mistaken sense of economy, buy apparently cheapor brands. The recipe of a good Baking Powder is anything but a secret; but how very few manufacturers use, as Messrs Sharland & (Jo. do, the best only of materials, carefully tested before mixture and exactly proportioned,' 1 Readers, who require an economical, satisfactory and healthful Baking Powder, cannot do better than use the " Moa" brand.—ADvi.
