F H. WOOD'S STOCK SUE REPORT. A large number of both sheep and cattle were yarded at the Taratahi sale yards yestorday, Tho former were chiefly ewes in lamb and hoggets, the feature cf the latter being yearlings and dairy stock, '.'.'here was a very largo attendance of buyers, and the bidding, except for old store cows, was very spirited, every line selling under the hammer at prices about equal to last sale rates, of which the following iB a quotation Sheep.—Ewes in lamb, full mouth, 0s to lis lid; two-tooth do, 12s 6d to 12s 8d; hoggets, 9s to 10a 4d; do, culls, 6s 5d to Bs, Cattle. -Yearlings, steers, 26s to 355, do heifers, 28s lo 30s; 2-year-old steers, 45s to 555; these were in very poor condition; dairy cows, young, £4 10s to £5 2s 6d ; do, old, 60s to 80s; store cows, 20s to 50s, old and poor. Pigs.--Slips, Gs. Houses,-Only two or three changed bauds, and these at low prices j horse, saddle and bridle, £9
