Messrs Lowes & lorns' Stock ■ Sale Repot t Masterton, Thursday, General.—Although tho entries yostprday were not very numerous, tho stock was generally of good %r. quality, the aitaidanco W»s lar-ie, and ' the salo throughout was very animated. Fat stock, in both cattlo and sheep, reached tho top price of tlio Beacon in Hub district. « Cattle.—Bullocks' ranged from £8 7s6dtoiß 15s; cows, £5 2s 6d to £1 ; two and three-year-old steers, 753 to£s; Btoro cows 52s to 70s; dairy cows, 70s to 82s Cd; two and • three-year-old hfliferß, 58s; yearlines, 355; iveanors, 255, Sheep.-Fat wethers, a good lino, not heavy weights but well woolled, brought from 15s 7d to 10s j light weights, 12s 6d and 12s 9d; no entries of ewes worth quoting. Horses.-Wc had a pretty large list of horses of all descriptions, but Very f ß w sold-prices entirely in favour of buyers. Pros.—ln pigs nothing but young ones; forward wenuers bringiug from 5s to 10s fid.
