TheTaranakirepresentatives played at the Thames on Wednesday, and defeated the best local fifteen by 9 points (a potted goal and & goal from a try) to i points (two tries). The weather was fine, and there was a large attendance, The game was a very interesting one throughout.

Wairarapa will need to wake up, or their fall will be as rapid as their rise.
