Westport, Thursday. A close holiday is being .observed to-day but a steady downpour of rain prevented the celebration of Arbor Day by the children, Wmunoton, Thursday. The weather is cold and windy, and likely to interfere with the complete success of the Arbor Day. Dohedis, Thursday. A holiday iB pretty geuerally observed. The weather ia warm and favourable, thouqh it threatens rain, Most of the city suburban schools assembled at an appointed rendezvous, and some did planting on a liberal scale. They re-asserablo at the Triangle this afternoon, when the various committees will report their operations to the Mayor and addresses will be delivered by Bishop Neville, Dr. Stuart and Mr Alex, Bathgate,
