Delegates and representatives from all parts of New Zealand were present, The administration of the Licensing Act by several of (he committies, especially in Sydenham and Wanganui,wlieio the Committies arbitrarily and the conference considered illegal, refused the licenses in a wholesale manner, was denounced, and a resolution adopted for defensive purposes, jn future, both as to organisation and financially, Other important business, which has not been disclosed, was transacted, The Executive Council for the year is Messrs M, Kennedy, B.J. McCarthy, J. Jack, J. K. Hamilton; T. YV. Young and Wilßon,
