BRIDGING THE CHANNEL
A New Scheme Adopted, [united peess association.] London, July 20. The Channel Bridge Company hare adopted a now scheme, of which the cost is estimated at £82,000,000. Tho length will bo shorter, and the risk to navigation less by the new route. Seventy-two spans will be required, and the bridge will only take seven years to build.
