The Pittsburg Labor Troubles.
(Per United Press Association,) Washington, July 2G. The police assert that the attempt to kill Pick, tho manager of Carnegie's works, is the result of a widenpead Socialist conspiracy. Several other arrests have been made, and Horr, a most notorious Anarchist, is suspected of complicity, There is some outcry in the United States at the reported torturing of a soldier who cheered lick's would-be assassin, July 27. Six hundred non-unionists have been engaged for Carnegie's works, London, July 26. Tho Washington authorities condemn the punishment of tho recalcitrant soldier without a trial. The public are furious with the officers of the regiment. July 27, Mr Carnegie has offered to return to Pittsburg it his presence ißlikely to lead to a reconciliation, but a reply has been sent stating that he is not required,
