At the half-yearly meeting of the Gas Company it was stated that the receipts for the half year were £19,887, I leaving a balance over expenditure of L 9806, An interim dividend was declared of 7s 6d on fully paid up sliares, and 8s 9d on partially paid up shares, absorbing LBBB9,
