The body of a teamster named Quaid, who was drowned while crossing the Waipaoa River at Rangitara Ford on 16th May, was found yestor» day afternoon by a Native girl at Pakowai, near Waerangahika. The body was embedded in the sand, and , in a good state of preservation.
