BRITISH INTERESTS IN MOROCCO.
Withdrawal of the British Mission. Jubilation in France. [United Press Association,] London, July 19. The Sultan of Morocco at the last moment refused to sign the Treaty arranged by the British Repiesentatives, giving equal advantages to ail nations, and 08'ercd the Commissioner (Sir Charles Euan-Smith) a bribe of £30,000 to sign a Treaty on the Sultan's own lines. The refusal is attributed to French intrigue. Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, aud Belgium supported England, In consequence of the Sultan's refusal to sign, the British Mission has been recalled.
Paris newspapers are jubilant, and admit that the rebuff administered to England by the Sultan of Morocco is due to the action of France,
Si Petersburg, July 19. Russia is urging Spain to join France, and prevent reprisals on the part of England.
