At the Wanganui rifle range, firing for long distance shooting has to be done across a road, and indignant residents who use the thoroughfare are writing to the papers expressing thoir annoyance of having to dodge bullets on frequent occasions aa they go by. Tho annual meeting was thep proceeded with, Tho churchwardens stated that all that had been ordered at the last annual meeting bad been carried out. Mr J. G, Cox and Rev T. Pnrrifc were re-elected clergyman's and peoples churchwardens. The following were elected members of the vestry: Messrs W, Toogood, F, O, Smith and 0. Mc. Shane, A special vote of thanks was accorded Messrs Cox and Porrit for ' their services tendered during the last year, A Finance Committee, consisting of the Watdens and tho Vestry waa appointed to meet next Thursday week to discuss money matters.
