R.M. COURT.
CAKTERTON.-TITESDAY. (Before Colonel Roberts, 8.M.) Poti Ana v, JE, Phelps, Adjourned till next sitting, counsel's fee 21s, end witnesses expenses Bs, being allowed, T. J. Wright v. F.O. Peyton. Mr Middleton for plaintiff and M r Acheson j for defendant. Claim for board, etc, at 12s per week, £l7 6s Gd. F. 0. Peyton, on oath, deposed that he did not reoognise his liability to the plaintiff, as the Kgreemeut was made with her husband and not with plaintiff. The sum of 28s for wash" ing and cost of summons had been paid into Court, The husband of plaintiff was indebted to bim for wages, W. Oadwallader, on oath, deposed that when Wright went to work for him be asked him if ho oould let him have the cottage which he was renting from Mr Maunsell for the men, He told him that if he would arrango with the men who were living in the house witness had.no objection to Wright having the house. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the amount paid into Court, less solicitor's fee 21s.
