Royal Arch Chapter,

The first Royal Arch Chapter constituted under the Supremo Grand EoyalArch Chapter of New Zealand was opened yesterday at Greytown by M. E, Gump, E. T, Gillon, Grand First Principal of the Supreme Grand Chapter, assisted by M, E, Comp. Herbert J, Williams, Grand Soribe E., and Companions A. I. Masters, Geo. Wilson, fl. J. Freeman, and W. Gongh, of the Waterloo R.A. Chapter, Wellington, The new chapter will be known us the Wairarupa Chapter, and has commenced working under excellent auspices, brethren representing oach lodge in the district taking part in the ceremonies and a con' siderable number being exalted to the R.A, Theofficersfurtheensuingterni were elected and installed in an impressive manner by 11, E, Comp, E.T, Gillon. The names are as follows; E. Comp, Rev W. E. Paige, Z.; E, Comp. Rev T. Porritt, H.j E. Comp. William Bey, J.; Soribe E: —Comp. J. G. Cox; Scribe N :-Comp. A. Booth ; Sojourners; Comps, N, Grace, B. Bright and A. E. Copping; Conductor: Comp. A. L. Webster; Janitor ;-Conip. N, King, The following brethren were also elected officers of the Mark Lodge:—W. M, M., Broßev T, Porritt; 8.W., Bto RwW.
