Mr J, lorns reports that at his fort-, nightly sale at fahintui last Saturday, the yards were'well filled with cattle oi all classes, nod with the exception of a line of twenty fat bullocks upon which too high a reserve was placed, all changed hands, stores showed a decline, which is due to rough weather and scarpity of feed. Some odd lines in beef sold—largo bullocks to f§ §s, cows fy 15s, store bullopks to fJQs, medium steers yOs to }fjs, young steers 50s to 60s, dairy cows 70s to 955, dairy heiftrs 48s to 70s, Horses offering of an inferior class, prices nominal,
