What do they mean when they say, " I could scarcelycrawlj"" I had to fairly lug myself along, 1 'etc 1 Why, simply that the body had lost, its surplus power, it had become a burden, instead of an instrument to carry burdens. A woman writes in this way i '■' I had constantly to lie down on ths couch and rest, I had barely strength to crawl ahout. This was in the Bummer of 1882. Tho trouble came upon me in 1»76, when I was forty-two years old, Before that Ihad always been strong and healthy. Then, however, 1 began to feel tired, weary, and languid, and gradually I had to consider myself a weak, sickly woman. At first jl bad a bad taste in the mouth, and a sinking sensation at the pit of the stomach. My anpetito was poor, and what little I ate gave mo pain in tho cheat and sides, My food seemed to oreate wind, whioh.rolled oil over me, I got bo bad; that night after night I was unable to sleep, I was at times in great auony, andif I bad not been obliged to work 16bould havo taken to my bed, Ab it was I struggled on as best I ooald, I saw a dootor and took various medioines, but "I continued in to wretched state for seven years-187G to 1883, Then came the help I had waited for so long and so hopolessly, In December of that year a little book was left at my house telling of a medioine called Mother Seigel's Syrup, and my husband read of a enso like mine having been cured by it, and I felt a strong desire to try the medicine, but we could not spare the money. ■ "However, when ray husband returned from Bungay on Christmas Evo ho.pullcd out of his parcel a Bottle of Seigel's Syrup and said,' See, I have brought jou a Christ-mas-box,' and it proved to bo tho most valuable one I ever had in my life, I began taking tho medicine at once, and found great relief, It seemed to lift a weight from my wbolo body. My appetite returned and 1 gradually gained strength, and by the time 1 had taken bix bottles I was a new woman. I could go about my laundry work with ease and pleasure. I still take an occasional dose, and keep in good health for which I have to thank Mother Seigel's Byrup, 1 know of many in this dißtriot who have received great benefit from tho Syrup, one or two of tho neighbours stating that but for it thoy would not now be slivo, I desire others to know of what did mo bo muoh good, and to this end you have my consent to pnblißh this letter, should you think it beet to do so, Yours truly, (Signed) MnsGooDEitiuN, Earsham, Norfolk, July 11th-181)1, KOY AL INSURANCE COMPANY. . :in the world, and distinguished for Moderateßatc3,Promptitude,and Liberality, ABSOLUTE SECUBITY.
